대구 중구, 동성로 관광특구 안내소 개소

【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 외국인 관광객을 겨냥한 맞춤형 서비스를 강화하고자 동성로 관광특구에 전용 안내소를 개소했다.

중구청은 지난 15일 동성로 관광특구 내에 ‘동성로 관광특구 안내소’ 개소식을 열고 본격적인 운영을 시작했다고 밝혔다. 안내소는 오전 9시부터 오후 9시까지 연중무휴로 문을 연다.

위치는 국채보상로 593, 올리브영 대구동성로점 옆 1층이다. 내부에는 안내데스크, 관광정보 전광판, 관광특구 안내지도, 느린우체통 등이 마련됐다.

특히 외국인 관광객을 위한 다국어 서비스가 눈길을 끈다. 안내소에는 외국어 골목문화해설사가 상주해 영어, 중국어, 일본어, 베트남어, 프랑스어 등 다양한 언어로 관광안내와 문화 해설을 제공한다.

관광객들은 현장에서 골목투어 접수와 주요 관광코스 안내는 물론, 지역 축제·행사와 편의시설 정보 등도 맞춤형으로 안내받을 수 있다.

류규하 중구청장은 “동성로 관광특구 안내소가 외국인 관광 수요에 적극적으로 대응하고, 전문 해설 서비스 제공의 거점 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다”며 “동성로가 대구를 대표하는 글로벌 관광지로 자리매김할 수 있도록 행정적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

Tourists can register for alley tours and receive guidance on major tourist routes, as well as personalized information on local festivals, events, and amenities.

Jung-gu District Mayor Ryu Gyu-ha said, “We expect the Dongseong-ro Tourist Special Zone Information Center to actively respond to the demand for foreign tourists and serve as a hub for providing professional interpretation services,” adding, “We will spare no administrative support to ensure that Dongseong-ro can establish itself as a global tourist destination representing Daegu.”
