【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구가 행정안전부가 실시한 ‘민생회복 소비쿠폰’ 집행 평가에서 전국 상위 20%에 오르며 최고 등급인 ‘가 등급’을 받았다.
이번 평가는 전국 243개 지방자치단체를 대상으로 소비쿠폰의 지급과 사용 촉진 전 과정을 종합적으로 점검하는 방식으로 이뤄졌다.
북구는 소비쿠폰을 신속하게 지급하고 높은 최종 지급률과 사용률을 기록해 좋은 평가를 받았다.
이의신청 처리 기간을 크게 단축해 주민 불편을 최소화했고, 복지 부서와 동 사회보장협의체 등과 협력해 ‘찾아가는 신청’ 서비스를 운영하면서 취약계층의 접근성도 대폭 높였다는 평가다.
온라인과 오프라인을 활용한 적극적인 홍보도 소비쿠폰 인지도와 사용률을 끌어올리는 데 일조했다.
이에 따라 북구는 특별교부세 2억 원을 확보하게 됐다.
배광식 북구청장은 “이번 최고 등급 선정은 민생경제 회복이라는 목표 아래 전 직원이 힘을 모은 덕분”이라며 “확보한 특별교부세는 주민 복지와 지역경제 활성화에 소중하게 쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
