브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= SK그룹이 연말을 맞아 이웃사랑 성금 200억 원을 사회복지공동모금회에 기탁했다.
SK는 16일 지동섭 SK수펙스추구협의회 SV위원장이 서울 중구 정동에 있는 사회복지공동모금회를 찾아 성금 200억 원을 전달했다고 밝혔다. SK는 1999년 이후 매년 사회복지공동모금회에 이웃사랑 성금을 기부해왔다.
특히, 올해는 지속가능한 지역사회를 위한 모금회 취지에 동감하고 기업의 사회적 책임을 실천하는 측면에서 전년대비 80억 원을 늘렸다. 올해까지 희망나눔 캠페인 누적 기부액은 총 2665억 원에 이른다.
SK는 올해 그룹 차원의 성금 200억 원 외에도 SK이노베이션, SK하이닉스, SK AX, SK실트론, SK머티리얼즈 등 계열사 임직원들의 자발적 기부를 통해 약 60억 원의 임직원 기금을 추가로 조성했다. 이를 희망나눔 캠페인 성금과 합산 시 연간 기부 규모는 약 260억 원에 달한다.
SK는 올해에도 사회문제 해결 및 다양한 이해관계자들의 행복 추구를 위해 폭 넓은 활동을 펼쳐왔다. 각 계열사들은 결식우려아동 도시락 지원(행복두끼) 및 사별 맞춤형 사회공헌 사업 등을 꾸준히 전개해왔다.
이 외에도 SK는 올 7월 전국적인 집중호우로 큰 피해를 겪은 주민들을 위해 23억 원 규모를 지원했다. 3월에는 경남·경북·울산 등지의 대형산불 피해 복구를 위해 20억 원 상당을 지원하며 재난 피해 지역의 복구·구호 활동에도 적극 나서왔다.
