고양 건설인들의 따뜻한 나눔… 연말 성금 500만원 기탁

고양특례시는  대한전문건설협회 경기도회 고양특례시협의회가 연말을 맞아 성금 500만원을 기탁했다고 16일 밝혔다.

지난 15일 열린 전달식에는 이승훈 협의회 회장과 최승훈 사무국장, 고양시 이재복 사회복지국장 등 5명이 참석했다.

이날 전달된 성금은 사회복지공동모금회를 통해 관내 어려운 이웃들을 지원하는 데 사용될 예정이다.

이승훈 회장은 "경기가 어려운 상황이지만 지역사회와 함께 성장하고 상생해 나가는 것이 건설인들의 책무라고 생각한다"며 "작은 정성이지만 이 성금이 우리 이웃들이 희망을 잃지 않고 따뜻하게 지내는 데 보탬이 되기를 바란다"고 전했다.

시 관계자는 "지역 건설인들의 땀과 정성이 담긴 소중한 성금은 단순한 지원을 넘어, 지역사회가 서로 돌보고 함께 성장하는 공동체임을 확인해주는 상징"이라며 "어려운 이웃들이 따뜻한 연말연시를 보낼 수 있도록 투명하고 효율적으로 사용하겠다"고 답했다.
