고양특례시 일산동구는 겨울철 한파와 에너지 비용 상승으로 생활여건 악화가 우려되는 취약계층을 위해 올해 12월 15일부터 내년 3월 31일까지 '겨울철 복지사각지대 집중 발굴 기간'을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 집중 발굴 기간은 제도적 보호를 받지 못하는 위기가구를 선제적으로 찾아내고, 긴급복지, 사례관리, 민간자원 등을 신속하게 연계해 동절기 복지 사각지대를 최소화하기 위한 대응 체계다.
구는 최근 고시원 거주 취약계층 증가와 고립, 안전, 건강 등 복합적 위험이 높아지는 상황에 주목했다.
이에 ▲고시원을 중점 발굴 지역으로 지정하고 집중 캠페인을 실시하며 ▲찾아가는 복지상담소 운영을 통해 현장 상담 및 위기가구 제보를 받는 등 다양한 활동을 전개할 계획이다.
또한 고시원 관리인을 대상으로 위기 제보 체계를 확대해 위기 상황 발견 시 즉시 신고할 수 있도록 안내할 예정이다.
특히 이 기간에 발굴된 위기가구는 긴급복지지원과 통합사례관리를 강화하여 지원한다.
