고양특례시 일산서구 주엽2동 안전보안관이 지역 내 안전문화 확산에 앞장선 공로를 인정받아 ‘2025년 고양특례시 안전문화 활성화 유공 단체상’을 수상했다고 15일 밝혔다.

주엽2동 안전보안관은 14명의 대원으로 구성돼 월·화·목 3개 조로 나눠 매주 관내를 순찰하며 각종 안전사고 예방 활동을 지속적으로 펼쳐왔다.
순찰 중에는 보도와 도로 파손, 가로등 고장, 배수로 문제, 전동킥보드·자전거 방치 여부 등 생활 속 위험 요소를 꼼꼼히 점검하고, 발견 즉시 관련 부서에 신고해 조치하도록 했다.
이 같은 꾸준한 현장 중심 활동을 통해 주엽2동 안전보안관은 연간 활동 지표에서도 상위권 실적을 기록하며 지역 안전관리 역량을 높이 평가받았으며 이러한 성과가 이번 단체상 수상으로 이어졌다는 평가다.
박창규 안전보안관 대표는 “1년 동안 지역의 안전을 위해 묵묵히 헌신해 온 대원들의 노력이 결실을 맺어 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 주민이 안심할 수 있는 생활환경을 만들기 위해 더욱 체계적이고 실효성 있는 활동을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
