【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 학생들이 직접 인공지능과 디지털 교육을 체험할 수 있는 ‘2025 AI 디지털 교육 학생 페스타’를 개최한다.
대구시교육청은 16일부터 18일까지 사흘간 대구인공지능교육센터에서 초등학교 5·6학년과 중학교 1학년 학생 600여 명을 대상으로 이번 페스타를 진행한다. 첫날과 마지막 날에는 초등학생, 17일에는 중학생이 참여하게 된다.
‘AI 디지털 교육 학생 페스타’는 대구시교육청이 그동안 추진해 온 AI·디지털 교육 정책의 현장을 학생들이 직접 경험하고 이해할 수 있도록 마련된 미래 교육 축제다. ‘교육수도 대구’가 구축한 AI·SW 교육 체계 아래, 학생들은 디지털 기술을 놀이와 창작, 문제 해결의 도구로 활용하는 새로운 방식의 교육을 경험한다.
행사는 총 3개의 체험 부문과 1개의 전시 부문으로 구성된다. 학생들은 각 반별로 차례로 체험 부문을 돌아본 뒤 마지막으로 전시 공간을 관람한다. 주요 체험 부문에서는 디지털 과몰입 예방과 정서적 균형을 위한 활동, 생성형 AI 및 소프트웨어 융합 체험, AI 디지털 교육자료를 활용한 학습 활동이 이뤄진다. 전시 부문에서는 SW·AI 몰입형 캠프와 SW미래채움 사업의 성과, 에듀테크 신기술 등이 선보인다.
또 난타 퍼포먼스와 향기 체험을 통한 정서 회복 활동, AI 윤리 골든벨, AI 탐정단 문제 해결, 캔바를 활용한 이모티콘 제작, 디지털 크리스마스 카드 만들기 등 다양한 프로그램이 마련됐다. 학생들은 AI 기술을 단순히 배움의 도구가 아니라 창작과 협력, 문제 해결의 수단으로 경험하게 된다.
특히 AI 디지털 교육자료 체험에서는 학생들이 AI 기반 디지털 학습 자료를 직접 활용해보면서, 대구시교육청이 추진하는 학생 맞춤형 AI·디지털 수업 환경을 미리 체험하는 기회도 제공된다.
강은희 대구시교육감은 “이번 페스타는 그동안 대구교육이 추구해 온 AI·디지털 교육의 방향성과 성과를 학생들이 자연스럽게 체험할 수 있도록 준비한 자리”라며 “앞으로도 모든 학생이 미래 사회의 주체로 성장할 수 있도록 대구형 AI·디지털 교육을 지속적으로 확대할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

Daegu Metropolitan Superintendent of Education Kang Eun-hee said, “This festival is a place where students can naturally experience the direction and achievements of AI and digital education that Daegu education has been pursuing,” and added, “We plan to continuously expand Daegu-style AI and digital education so that all students can grow into active players in future society.”
