브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자가 최신 화질 기술이 집약된 마이크로 RGB TV 라인업을 확대해 프리미엄 TV 시장에서 소비자들의 선택의 폭을 넓힌다.
삼성전자는 지난 8월 115형 마이크로 RGB TV를 최초 출시한 데 이어, 2026년형 마이크로 RGB TV 라인업을 55/66/75/85/100형 등 총 6가지 사이즈로 다양화했다.
마이크로 RGB TV는 스크린에 마이크로 크기의 RGB(빨강, 초록, 파랑) LED를 미세하게 배열한 RGB 컬러 백라이트를 적용해 빨강, 초록, 파랑 색상을 각각 독립적으로 정밀 제어할 수 있다.
특히, RGB LED 칩 크기를 100㎛ 이하로 줄인 마이크로 RGB 기술을 적용해 보다 촘촘하고 정교한 색상 및 밝기 제어가 가능해졌다.
이를 통해 어두운 부분과 밝은 부분을 보다 정교하게 조정하는 것이 가능해져 명암 표현을 높이는 ‘로컬 디밍 효과’를 극대화한다. 소자가 미세해진 만큼 깊은 검은색과 밝은 이미지를 섬세하게 표현할 수 있다.
삼성 마이크로 RGB TV는 국제전기통신연합(ITU)이 제정한 색 정확도 지표 BT2020 면적률 100%를 달성해 독일 시험∙인증 전문 기관 VDE(Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker)로부터 ‘Micro RGB Precision Color’ 인증도 획득한 바 있다.
아울러 삼성 마이크로 RGB TV는 고성능 AI엔진을 탑재해 모든 콘텐츠에서 압도적인 색상을 구현한다.
