고양특례시가 주최하고 고양연구원이 주관한 2030 고양 미래비전 G-노믹스 세미나가 지난 12일 킨텍스 제2전시장에서 개최됐다.

이번 세미나는 고양시의 중장기 발전 방향을 종합적으로 점검하고 2030 고양 미래비전 실현을 위한 G-노믹스 전략과 주요 과제를 논의하기 위해 마련됐으며 경제 산업 정책 등 각 분야 전문가들이 참석해 고양시의 미래 성장동력과 도시 경쟁력 강화 방안을 논의했다.
G-노믹스는 고양시가 제시한 미래 경제 도시발전 비전으로 주거 중심 도시에서 벗어나 산업 일자리 투자 문화가 선순환하는 지속가능한 미래 경제도시로의 전환을 핵심 목표로 한다.
세미나는 이동환 고양특례시장의 환영사와 김현호 고양연구원장의 개회사로 시작했으며 이동환 고양특례시장은 G-노믹스는 베드타운을 벗어나 자족도시로의 대전환을 이루기 위한 핵심 전략이라며 G-노믹스 5대 핵심전략과 실행 과제를 속도감 있게 실행해 나가겠다고 밝혔다.

마지막 발표에서는 정병순 서울연구원 선임연구위원이 산업경제 구조 전환과 도시경제의 미래를 주제로 발표했으며 첨단 신기술 기반 미래 신산업 육성과 기술기반 스타트업 및 스케일업 선순환 구축 등 도시경제 4대 아젠다를 제시하며 고양시의 여건과 미래상을 고려한 발전전략 모색의 중요성을 강조했다.
이어진 패널토론에서는 학계 정책 산업 분야 전문가들이 참여해 G-노믹스 전략의 실효성을 높이기 위한 정책적 지원 방안과 민 관 연 협력 모델에 대해 다양한 의견을 나눴다.
토론자들은 고양시가 수도권 내 경쟁 도시와의 차별화를 위해 AI 스마트 모빌리티 K 콘텐츠 문화 관광 산업 등을 전략적으로 육성할 필요가 있다는 데 공감했다.
또한 우수한 교통 인프라와 풍부한 인적 자원을 기반으로 한 혁신 생태계 구축의 중요성을 강조했다.
