인천시의회, 의원연구단체 운영 심사위원회 개최

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시의회가 지난 10일부터 16일까지 ‘인천광역시의회 의원연구단체 운영 심사위원회’ 서면심사를 실시해 2025년도 의원연구단체 연구활동비 사용내역과 2026년 의원연구단체 활동 계획을 심의했다고 밝혔다.

인천시의회에 따르면, 심사위원회는 15개의 의원연구단체가 2025년 한 해 동안 수행한 연구활동의 예산집행 내역과 연구성과를 면밀히 검토·심의했고, 2026년도 6개 의원연구단체의 활동계획에 대해 연구주제의 적합성, 활동기간 및 예산의 적정성 등을 심사했다. 

내년 인천시의회 의원연구단체로 선정된 6개의 단체는 23명의 의원이 참여하며, 관련 기관 및 전문가와의 간담회·토론회 개최, 현장 조사 등을 통한 활발한 연구활동을 수행할 예정이다.

임춘원 위원장은 “의회 일정 등으로 바쁜 와중에도 각 연구단체들이 주민 현안과 밀접한 주제들을 깊이 있게 연구하며 실생활에 접목할 정책과 법안들을 고안해 냈다”며 “내년 6개 의원연구단체의 연구활동도 계획대로 진행돼 시민들의 삶의 질 향상에 기여할 수 있도록 노력해 달라”고 당부했다. 

이어 정해권 의장은 “인천시의회의 의원연구단체가 시정 발전을 위한 관심분야의 현안을 깊이 연구하여 시민의 행복과 민생 회복을 위한 입법활동과 정책개발에 중요한 역할을 할 것”이라며 “300만 인천시민이 모두 만족할 수 있는 시민 중심의 정책 연구 활동을 활발히 추진할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
