(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 지난 16일 부천시청 창의실에서 가톨릭대학교, 부천대학교, 서울신학대학교, 유한대학교 등 관내 4개 대학과 부천산업진흥원, 부천상공회의소, 부천강소기업협의회 등 주요 산학 기관 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 ‘2025년 제2회 부천시·대학 상생발전협의회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이날 협의회에서는 라이즈(RISE) 사업과 지산학(지역-산업-대학) 협력 활성화 방안을 중심으로 논의가 이뤄졌다.
주요 안건으로는 2025년 대학협력사업 추진현황, 지역사회 현안 해결을 위한 라이즈(RISE) 사업 협력 방안, 부천시 산업 발전을 위한 지·산·학 협력 추진 등이다.
참석자들은 올해 추진된 대학협력사업의 성과를 공유하고, 향후 지역 발전을 위한 실질적인 협력 방안과 함께 현장에서 체감하는 현실적인 과제에 대해서도 폭넓게 의견을 나눴다.
남동경 부천시 부시장은 “관내 4개 대학이 모두 경기도 라이즈(RISE) 공모사업에 선정된 것은 부천시와 대학 간 지속적인 협력의 성과”라며 “지자체 및 기업과 대학이 상시 소통하는 협력 체계를 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
부천시는 앞으로도 정기적인 지산학 협력 거버넌스를 운영하고, 실무협의와 정책 발굴을 꾸준히 추진해 나갈 계획이다.

또한, 부천시가 지난 16일 송내시민학습원 누리터에서 ‘2025년 부천시평생학습협의회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이번 협의회는 지난 1년간의 평생학습 성과를 공유하고, 내년 부천시의 평생학습 추진 방향에 대한 다양한 의견을 수렴하기 위해 마련됐다.

부천시는 이번 협의회에서 올해 약 8천만 원의 외부자원을 확보해 느린학습자 평생교육 지원 등 4개 신규사업을 추진한 내용을 공유했다.
또, 내년에는 평생학습 기반 강화, 맞춤 지원, 소외완화, 문화구축 등 4대 영역에서 총 18개 세부과제를 추진할 계획이라고 설명했다.
