증평군민장학회, 주민 임종길씨 인재양성 장학금 기탁

【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 증평읍 남차리에 거주하는 임종길 씨가 17일 지역의 우수인재 양성을 위해 써달라며 (재)증평군민장학회(이사장 이재영 증평군수)에 장학금 50만원을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

임종길 씨는 “작은 정성이지만 학생들이 꿈을 키우는 데 보탬이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역의 인재들이 마음껏 도전할 수 있도록 응원하고 싶다”고 말했다.

한편, 임씨는 2017년도부터 꾸준히 장학금을 기탁해오며 이웃사랑을 실천하고 있어 지역사회에 귀감이 되고 있다.
