【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군이 인접 지역인 고병원성 조류인플루엔자(AI)가 발생함에 따라 차단방역 강화에 총력을 기울이고 있다.
19일 군에 따르면, 최근 괴산군 사리면 산란계 농장에서 H5N1형 고병원성 AI가 확진되면서, 지역 내 전업 가금농가 일부가 방역대에 포함됐다.
보호지역(반경 500m~3km) 1호, 예찰지역(3~10km) 8호가 해당된다.
군은 방역대 내 사육 중인 가금농가를 대상으로 AI 검사를 모두 완료했으며, 농가별 소독약 공급과 함께 예찰·소독 등 선제적 방역 조치를 시행했다.
특히 군은 재난안전대책본부를 운영하며 24시간 거점소독소를 상시 가동하고 있다.
보강천 철새도래지 주변과 양계농가 진입로에 대한 집중 소독을 실시하는 한편, 가금농가 관련 종사자들을 대상으로 자체 방역과 예찰 활동을 강화하는 등 차단방역에 행정력을 집중하고 있다.
지난 18일에는 방역 체계 점검을 위해 이재영 군수를 비롯한 군 관계자들이 거점소독소를 방문해 운영 실태를 확인하고 방역 대응 상황을 점검하기도 했다.
군 관계자는 “AI 예방과 확산 방지를 위해서는 농가의 기본 방역수칙 준수가 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “농장 출입 시 철저한 소독과 외부인·차량 출입 통제 등 방역수칙을 철저히 지키고, 의심 증상이 발견될 경우 즉시 신고해 달라”고 당부했다.
