고양특례시가 22일 고양관광정보센터 1층 영상관에서 '고양콘 특별전'을 개관하며 지역 문화 관광 활성화에 나섰다.
이번 전시는 올해 고양에서 열린 세계적인 아티스트들의 콘서트를 기념하고, 고양관광특구를 특화·활성화하기 위해 마련됐다.

전시장에는 글로벌 아티스트들의 사인 포스터와 핸드프린팅, 콘서트 한정판 굿즈 등 다양한 기념품이 전시돼 방문객들에게 콘서트 현장의 감동을 재현한다.
개관 첫날에는 중부대학교 중국 유학생 32명을 초청해 K-팝 열풍과 한류 콘텐츠를 체험하는 특별 행사가 진행됐다.

참석한 학생들은 지드래곤과 BTS 사진 앞에서 기념 촬영을 하고, 블랙핑크 핸드프린팅을 직접 체험하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈다.
이동환 고양특례시장은 환영사에서 "고양콘은 이제 하나의 문화 브랜드로 자리잡았다"며 "내년에는 더 많은 아티스트들이 고양을 찾을 예정"이라고 밝혔다.
이어 "한국에 머무는 동안 고양콘의 성장을 꼼꼼히 모니터링해 달라"고 당부했다.

시는 이번 전시를 통해 지역 관광자원과 문화 콘텐츠를 결합해 고양관광특구의 경쟁력을 강화하고, 국내외 방문객들에게 차별화된 문화 경험을 제공할 계획이다.
고양콘 특별전은 12월 31일까지 고양관광정보센터 1층 영상관에서 매일 오전 9시부터 오후 7시까지 무료로 관람할 수 있다.
