파주시가 지난 19일 파주시민회관 대공연장에서 '2026 파주사랑 희망나눔 특별현장모금'을 성황리에 개최했다.
이날 행사에는 200여 명의 지역 주민과 기관·단체 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 지역사회 나눔 문화 확산을 위한 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.
2016년 시작되어 올해로 10회째를 맞은 이번 행사는 파주시와 경기사회복지공동모금회가 주최하고, 파주시지역사회보장협의체와 파주시사회복지협의회가 주관했다.

'행복을 더하는 기부, 기부로 바꾸는 파주'를 대표 구호로 내건 이날 행사에는 김경일 파주시장이 직접 모금에 참여하며 지역 주민들에게 응원의 뜻을 전했다.
행사장에서는 큰나무미래어린이집 원아들이 고사리손으로 모은 성금을 시작으로 파주상공회의소(위원장 구광남), 파주시의회(의장 박대성), ㈜엘림테크(대표 정해면) 등 지역 기관·단체의 기부가 이어졌다.
또한 각 읍면동 주민과 단체의 모금도 함께 진행되며, 참석자들이 나눔 구호를 함께 외치는 등 나눔 문화 확산을 위한 공감대를 나누는 자리가 되었다.
권인욱 경기사회복지공동모금회장은 "남을 위해 나눔을 실천한다는 것은 결코 쉽지 않은 일이지만, 오늘 이 자리에 함께한 모든 분들은 그 뜻깊은 실천의 주인공들"이라며 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
김경일 파주시장은 "이웃을 생각하고 모금에 참여한 여러분의 마음이 모여 어려움에 놓인 이웃들에게 큰 용기와 위로가 될 것"이라며 "나눌수록 행복이 커지는 파주시가 될 것"이라고 말했다.
한편, 12월 1일부터 시작된 '2026희망나눔캠페인'은 2026년 1월 31일까지 진행된다.
특별 현장모금 등을 통해 모금된 성금은 파주시 취약계층을 위한 복지사업에 사용될 예정이다.
