국회 기후에너지환경노동위원회 안호영 위원장은 23일(화) 국회에서 새만금 수상태양광 조기 추진을 위한 2차 간담회를 개최했다. 지난 18일 열린 1차 간담회에 이은 후속 논의다.
이번 간담회에는 김성환 기후에너지환경부 장관, 신영대 의원, 기후부 전력망 정책관, 한국전력 부사장, 새만금개발청, 전북도·군산시 등 관계기관 주요 인사가 참석해 새만금 수상태양광 사업과 송전망 설치 방안을 집중 점검했다.

이날 간담회에서는 각 기관에서 지난 1차 간담회에서 제기된 ▲1.2GW 수상태양광 중 300MW 우선 조기 접속 방안, ▲2029년 완공 예정인 새만금 변전소와의 연계 방안, ▲사업자 구성 및 역할 조정 필요성 등을 기후에너지 장관에게 설명하였다.
