(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 지난 23일 시민 안전과 도시정보 인프라를 총괄하는 핵심 거점인 ‘스마트도시 통합운영센터’ 개관식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이날 행사에는 BIG센터 입주기관이 함께했으며, 원미·소사·오정경찰서와 부천소방서 관계자도 참석해 스마트도시 통합운영센터의 기능과 위기 대응 협력 체계에 대한 이해를 높였다.

이번 사업은 총 461억 9천만 원이 투입됐으며 1차 건물 증축에 195억 5천만 원, 2차 기반시설 구축에 266억 4천만 원이 투입됐다.
센터는 9층 업무시설, 10층 통합관제실과 영상분석실, 11~12층 전산실, 13층 전기실·배터리실·통신실로 구성돼 있다.
스마트도시 통합운영센터는 시 전역의 CCTV를 통합 연계해 범죄, 교통사고, 재난 등 이상 상황을 실시간으로 파악하고, 관련 부서와 유관기관에 신속히 정보를 전파해 도시 안전을 살피고 총괄 지휘체계를 지원한다.
