이번 성과보고회에는 경상북도를 비롯해 주관기관인 포항TP, 참여기관인 포항공과대학교 인공지능연구원(포스텍 AI연구원), 사업 참여기업 7개사, 기술사업화 컨설팅 수행기관 2개사 등 관계자들이 참석해 2025년도 사업 성과를 점검하고 향후 발전 방안을 모색했다.
보고회는 ▲2025년 중소벤처기업 AI 기술융합 스케일업 지원사업 주요 성과 보고(포항TP) ▲R&D 협업 기반 AI 기술개발 현황 발표(포스텍 AI연구원) ▲참여기업 국가 R&D 과제 수주 우수사례 발표(㈜브이스페이스) ▲기술사업화 및 정부 R&D 과제 기획 컨설팅 결과 보고 ▲참여기업 건의사항 청취 및 차년도(5년차) 사업 운영 방향 논의 순으로 진행됐다.
올해로 4년차를 맞은 본 사업은 산·학·연 협업을 기반으로 한 AI 기술융합 모델을 안정적으로 정착시키며, 도내 AI 중소벤처기업의 기술 경쟁력 강화와 실질적인 사업 성과 창출에 기여해 왔다. 특히 올해는 포스텍 AI연구원과 참여기업이 협력해 총 36억 원 규모의 중소벤처기업부 R&D 과제를 수주하는 성과를 거뒀다.
2025년에는 참여기업 7개사가 포스텍 AI연구원과 공동으로 총 7건의 AI 기술개발 과제를 수행했으며, 이 과정에서 7건의 공동 특허를 출원하는 등 가시적인 기술 성과를 창출했다. 참여기업들은 이러한 성과를 바탕으로 차년도 국가 R&D 사업에도 적극 참여할 계획이다.
경상북도와 포항TP는 포스텍 AI연구원과의 긴밀한 협력을 통해 도내 AI 중소벤처기업의 성장과 국가 R&D 연계를 지속적으로 지원해 왔으며, 차년도에는 AI 핵심기술 개발을 중심으로 보다 전략적인 지원을 추진할 방침이다. 특히 기업 맞춤형 R&D 기획과 기술사업화 컨설팅을 강화해 AI 분야 국가 R&D 과제 수주 성과를 극대화할 계획이다.
배영호 포항TP 원장은 “이번 성과보고회는 AI 기술융합 지원사업의 가능성과 성과를 확인하는 뜻깊은 자리였다”며 “차년도에는 AI 기술개발과 국가 R&D 연계를 더욱 강화해 도내 AI 산업 생태계가 한 단계 도약할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Pohang Technopark Holds AI Technology Convergence Scale-up Support Project Performance Report

Now in its fourth year, the project has steadily established an AI technology convergence model based on industry-academia-research collaboration. It has contributed to strengthening the technological competitiveness of AI SMEs in the province and generating tangible business results. Notably, this year, POSTECH AI Research Institute and participating companies collaborated to secure a KRW 3.6 billion R&D project from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
In 2025, seven participating companies jointly conducted seven AI technology development projects with the POSTECH AI Research Institute, achieving tangible technological achievements, including seven joint patent applications. Building on these achievements, the participating companies plan to actively participate in national R&D projects next year.
Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and Pohang Technology Partnership (TPP) have consistently supported the growth of local AI SMEs and their linkage with national R&D through close collaboration with the POSTECH AI Research Institute. Next year, they plan to pursue more strategic support, focusing on the development of core AI technologies. Specifically, they plan to strengthen customized R&D planning and technology commercialization consulting to maximize their success in securing national R&D projects in the AI field.
Pohang Technology Partnership (TPP) Director Bae Young-ho stated, "This performance report was a meaningful opportunity to confirm the potential and achievements of the AI Technology Convergence Support Project. Next year, we will further strengthen the connection between AI technology development and national R&D, actively supporting the advancement of the provincial AI industry ecosystem."
