【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경상북도교육청이 2025년 운영한 ‘도전! 꿈 성취 교육감 인증제’에서 인증 기준을 충족한 학생 181명을 최종 선정했다고 26일 밝혔다.
‘도전! 꿈 성취 교육감 인증제’는 학생들이 스스로 목표를 세우고 도전 과제를 실천하는 전 과정을 직접 경험할 수 있도록 설계된 참여형 교육 프로그램이다. 이 프로그램에서는 결과보다는 목표 설정과 실천, 성찰의 과정을 중요하게 여겨 학생들의 자기주도적 성장에 초점을 두고 있다.
올해 이 프로그램에는 모두 2,117명의 학생이 지원했다. 이 가운데 프로그램별 인증을 획득한 학생은 679명이다. 이 중에서도 교육감 인증 기준을 통과한 181명이 최종 선정됐으며, 이들은 금장 41명, 은장 44명, 동장 96명으로 각각 나뉘어 인증을 받았다.
올해 운영된 프로그램은 ‘책 쓰는 아이들’, ‘우리 땅 독도지킴이’, ‘도전! 문해력을 높여라’, ‘경북독서친구와 함께하는 독서 도전기’, ‘탄소중립 100일의 도전’, ‘트레킹 경북 속으로’, ‘꿈다락 챌린지’, ‘청소년 CEO 창업프로젝트’, ‘English! Speak Up’, ‘창의융합에듀파크 스탬프 투어’ 등 10개다. 각 프로그램은 학생이 목표를 세우고 단계별로 과제를 해결하면서 성취와 성장의 기회를 얻을 수 있도록 구성됐다.
프로그램별 인증 학생에게는 표창장이 수여됐고, 교육감 인증 학생들에게는 인증서와 함께 금·은·동 메달이 전달됐다.
심사에 참여한 한 위원은 “학생들이 과제 수행에 그치지 않고, 직접 목표를 설정해 끝까지 실천하는 과정에서 뚜렷한 성장을 보여줬다”며 “이번 경험이 일회성에 머무르지 않고 앞으로도 계속 도전정신으로 이어지길 바란다”고 말했다.
임종식 경북교육감은 “‘도전! 꿈 성취 교육감 인증제’는 결과보다 과정의 가치를 중시하고, 학생이 직접 성장의 의미를 찾을 수 있도록 돕는 교육”이라며 “앞으로도 학생들이 주도적으로 꿈을 향해 도전할 수 있는 교육 환경 조성에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.

One of the judging committee members said, "The students demonstrated clear growth by going beyond simply completing assignments and setting their own goals and achieving them to the end." He added, "I hope this experience will not be a one-time event but will continue to inspire a spirit of challenge."
Gyeongbuk Superintendent of Education Lim Jong-sik stated, “The ‘Challenge! Dream Achievement Superintendent Certification System’ emphasizes the value of the process over the outcome and provides education that helps students discover the meaning of growth on their own. We will continue to strive to create an educational environment where students can proactively pursue their dreams.”
