증평군치매안심센터는 최근 열린 2025년 충청북도 치매관리사업 지역특화 우수사례 공모전에서 우수상을 수상한 데 이어, 보건복지부주관 치매관리사업 우수사례 경진대회에서도 치매가족 및 보호자 지원 부문 장려상을 받았다.
이번 잇단 수상은 지역 특성과 주민 요구를 반영한 증평군 치매관리 정책이 현장에서 실효성을 갖고 작동하고 있다는 점을 대외적으로 인정받은 결과로 평가된다.
충북도 공모전에서는 소생활권 단위의 특성을 반영한 단계별 맞춤형 치매관리 모델을 구축하고, 이를 기반으로 지속 가능한 서비스 제공 체계를 마련한 점이 높은 평가를 받았다.
치매 예방부터 진단, 돌봄, 가족 지원까지 이어지는 통합적 접근이 지역 현실에 맞게 정착됐다는 점이 주목됐다.
보건복지부 경진대회에서는 치매가족과 보호자를 대상으로 실시한 자체 설문조사 결과를 사업 운영 전반에 적극 반영해 돌봄 공백을 최소화하려는 노력이 호평을 받았다.
특히 치매환자 가정을 위한 돌봄안내서를 자체 제작·배포해 보호자의 정보 접근성을 높이고, 실질적인 돌봄 역량 강화를 지원한 점이 긍정적으로 평가됐다.
증평군치매안심센터 관계자는 “이번 성과는 지역의 특성과 치매가족의 실제 요구를 정책에 반영해 온 결과”라며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 긴밀히 협력해 치매환자와 가족이 안심하고 살아갈 수 있는 치매 친화적 환경을 만들어 나가겠다”고 말했다.
