이번 성금은 연말을 맞아 지역사회보장협의체 위원들의 따뜻한 마음을 담은 ‘사랑의 저금통’ 사업을 통해 마련됐다.
본 사업은 광혜원면 지역사회보장협의체 주도로 지역 행정복지센터와 관내 사업장 5곳에 비치된 저금통을 설치, 주민들의 자발적인 참여를 유도한 사업이다.
기부된 성금은 2026년 동안 진행될 제5기 지역사회보장협의체의 다양한 복지사업에 쓰일 예정으로, 향후 광혜원면의 취약계층을 지원하는 중요한 기반이 될 예정이다.
지헌순 민간위원장은 “지역사회의 어려운 이웃들에게 작은 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 협의체가 주민들의 단체로 자리매김할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
