이날 하루 동안 약 3,174명이 스케이트장을 방문하며, 팔거천 스케이트장이 겨울철 대표 명소임을 다시 한 번 입증했다.
현장에는 가족 단위 방문객을 위해 다양한 체험 부스와 기념 촬영 프로그램이 운영돼 행사장은 하루 종일 활기로 가득했다.
이날 행사는 오전 10시부터 오후 4시까지 진행됐다. 운영은 주민 자율운영단체인 우리마을 교육나눔 추진위원회가 맡아, 지역 주민들이 행사 전반에 적극적으로 참여했다. 주민들은 야외쉼터를 활용한 체험 부스 운영에 힘을 보태며, 공동체 정신을 실천했다는 평가다.
