취리히는 성탄절 전후로 다양한 이벤트가 이어지며,
특히 시니어들을 위한 런치와 디너 프로그램이 눈에 띈다.
음식은 늘 푸짐하고 스테이크까지 제공되는데, 대부분 교회에서 무료로 운영한다.
알고 보면 취리히는 노년층을 위한 배려와 혜택이 상당히 넉넉한 도시다.
나는 이곳에서 오리가미를 가르치며 나눔의 기쁨을 경험했다.
스위스에서는 오리가미 인지도가 높고 아이들 교육용으로도 널리 알려져 있어
많은 이들이 쉽게 호감을 갖는다. 올 크리스마스 시즌에는
여러 사람들에게 종이접기를 가르치고 선물을 건넬 수 있어 더욱 따뜻하고 즐거운 시간이었다.
Zurich comes alive with numerous events around Christmas,
and what stands out most are the lunches and dinners prepared especially for seniors.
The meals are plentiful—often including steak—
and many of these gatherings are hosted free of charge by churches.
In many ways, Zurich is a city that shows remarkable care and generosity toward the elderly.
During my time here,
I taught origami and discovered the joy of giving.
Origami is surprisingly well-recognized in Switzerland, often used in children's learning,
which makes people naturally receptive to it.
This Christmas season, I had the pleasure of teaching origami to many
and offering small gifts—a truly warm and fulfilling experience.
チューリッヒではクリスマス前後にさまざまなイベントが開催され、
とりわけシニア向けのランチやディナーが印象的だ。
料理はとても豪華で、ステーキまで提供されることが多い。
しかも多くは教会による無料サービスである。
チューリッヒは高齢者への配慮と支援が行き届いた街だとつくづく感じる。
私はここで折り紙を教え、
分かち合う喜びを味わった。スイスでは折り紙の認知度が高く、
子供の学習教材としても広く知られているため、
多くの人が親しみを持ってくれる。
このクリスマスシーズンには多くの人に折り紙を教え、
プレゼントを渡すことができ、とても温かく嬉しい日々だった。
