고양특례시 덕양구 고양동이 10년간 꾸준히 반찬나눔 봉사를 실천해 온 지역사회보장협의체와 ㈜전한 강강술래 늘봄농원점 자원봉사자들에게 지난 26일 경기도지사 표창을 전달했다고 밝혔다.
이번 표창은 2016년부터 10년간 독거노인 등 저소득 취약계층을 대상으로 매주 반찬 지원 봉사를 이어오며 지역사회 복지 증진에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 수여됐다.

고양동은 매주 금요일 기초생활수급자 등 취약계층을 대상으로 '사랑의 반찬나눔, 찬찬찬(희망찬 보람찬 나눔찬)' 사업을 진행하고 있다.
지역 기업체인 강강술래 늘봄농원점과 성수보쌈에서 준비한 반찬과 국물류를 고양동 지역사회보장협의체 위원들과 강강술래 직원들이 직접 가정을 방문해 전달한다.
매주 약 30가구에 반찬이 전달되며, 이와 별도로 강강술래에서 준비한 25가구 분량의 반찬은 고양동 내 무료급식소를 운영하는 시민자원봉사연합회에 전달돼 무료급식에 활용된다.
이 사업은 2015년 12월 '고양시민 복지나눔 1촌 맺기' 사업의 일환으로, 고양시와 외식업체 강강술래를 운영하는 ㈜전한 간의 업무협약으로 시작됐다.
특히 강강술래 늘봄농원점은 올해 5월부터 반찬 제공뿐만 아니라 직원들이 격주로 조를 이루어 반찬 배달 봉사에 직접 참여하고 있다.
반찬을 지원받고 있는 김모 어르신은 "나이 들고 몸이 불편해 장보고 요리하기 힘든데, 반찬을 챙겨주니 큰 힘이 된다"며 "그저 한 끼 식사가 아니라, 누군가 나를 잊지 않고 챙겨준다는 마음이 느껴져서 금요일이 기다려진다"고 말했다.
