홍성표 회장은 “경제적 여건 때문에 꿈을 포기하지 않도록 작은 지원이 학생들에게 용기가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 학생들이 자신의 가능성을 펼쳐나갈 수 있도록 관심을 가지고 나눔 활동을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
박경화 센터장은 “그동안 지역사회를 위해 다양한 사회공헌활동을 실천해주신 증평로타리클럽에 깊은 감사의 뜻을 전한다”며 “이번 장학금이 참여주민 자녀의 미래에 진로 선택의 기회를 넓혀줄 수 있을거라 믿어 의심치 않는다”며 소감을 전했다.
