고양특례시 일산동구 백석1동 주민자치회는 지난 29일 취약계층을 대상으로 겨울철 한파에 대비한 사랑의 이불 나눔 행사를 진행했다.

작년에 이어 올해도 진행된 이번 나눔 봉사는 일산 동안교회의 후원으로 마련됐으며 난방 취약 등으로 겨울철 생활에 어려움을 겪는 이웃들의 안전과 건강을 지키기 위한 취지다.
후원받은 요세트와 이불세트는 총 70세트로 독거어르신과 저소득 가구 등 취약계층 40가구, 그리고 화재로 어려움을 겪은 30가구에 각각 전달됐다.
윤효경 백석1동 주민자치회장은 연말 한파에 취약계층과 화재 피해 가구가 걱정되어 나눔 활동을 진행했다며 이불이 추운 날씨 속에서 따뜻한 위로와 힘이 되길 바라고 새해에도 어려운 이웃을 위한 나눔을 이어가겠다고 말했다.
오미근 백석1동장은 추운 겨울 어려움을 겪는 이웃들을 위해 따뜻한 손길을 더해 준 일산 동안교회에 감사하다며 앞으로도 민관이 협력해 소외된 이웃을 위한 나눔 활동을 펼치며 따뜻한 지역사회를 만들어 나가겠다고 밝혔다.
