“AI·디지털 시대, 원융회통의 공동체로 도약”
구연희 교육감 권한대행, 조직 안정과 미래 인재 양성 강조
세종시교육청이 2일 청사 대강당에서 2026년 시무식을 열고 새해 교육 비전과 주요 과제를 공유했다.
이날 행사에는 구연희 교육감 권한대행을 비롯해 본청과 직속기관 직원들이 참석한 가운데, 승진자 소개와 표창 수여, 신년특집 영상을 시청하며 새해 각오를 다졌다.
구 권한대행은 인사말에서 “지난 한 해 어려운 여건 속에서도 학교 현장에서 학생을 위해 헌신한 교사와 보이지 않는 곳에서 교육행정을 뒷받침한 직원들 덕분에 세종교육이 한 걸음 더 전진할 수 있었다”고 직원들에게 감사를 전했다.

또한 “AI 시대에는 단순한 지식보다 질문과 판단, 책임 있는 기술 활용 능력이 중요하다”며 “특히 수학교육을 통해 사고력과 문제 해결력을 키워 세종이 수학교육 혁신의 선도 지역이 될 수 있도록 다양한 방안을 마련하겠다”고 밝혔다.
올해 개원을 앞둔 평생교육원과 교육문화원에 대해서도 “유아에서 성인까지 이어지는 생애주기별 학습 기반을 마련해, 마을과 교육이 함께 성장하는 세종형 교육 모델을 완성하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
한편, 구 권한대행은 지방선거를 앞둔 권한대행 체제의 특성을 언급하며 “지금은 조직의 안정이 무엇보다 중요한 시기”라며 “공무원으로서 선거 중립 의무를 철저히 지키고, 추진 중인 사업들이 흔들림 없이 성과를 낼 수 있도록 각자의 자리에서 최선을 다해달라”고 당부했다.
