【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 취약계층 및 저소득 군민들의 생활 속 세금 고민을 무료로 상담해 주는 제6기 음성군 마을세무사 6명을 위촉했다고 2일 밝혔다.
위촉식에서는 제5기 마을세무사인 김광현 세무사, 김동현 세무사, 김용기 세무사, 이용주 세무사를 재위촉했고, 김몽경 세무사, 임수종 세무사를 신규 마을세무사로 위촉했다.
총 6명으로 구성된 제6기 음성군 마을세무사는 2026년 1월부터 2027년 12월까지 2년간 군민들의 지방세 및 국세 관련 세무 상담 재능기부를 통해 무료로 상담을 제공할 예정이다.
2016년부터 시행하고 있는 마을세무사 제도는, 소상공인, 전통시장 상인, 취약계층, 저소득 군민들의 생활 속 세금 고민이 생겼을 때 음성군 마을세무사로 등록된 세무사에게 전화 또는 팩스로 문의하면 무료로 군민들의 세금 고민을 상담해 주는 제도이다.
지난 10년간 3천200여명의 군민이 마을세무사와 상담을 진행해 도움을 받았고, 전통시장과 소상공인 지원을 통해 지역경제 활성화에도 긍정적인 효과를 보았다.
군 관계자는 “세금 고민이 있어도 전문적인 상담을 받기 어려운 군민들이 더 쉽고 편리하게 세무 상담을 받을 수 있도록 적극 노력할 것”이라며 “군은 2026년에도 군민이 필요한 곳이면 어디든 찾아가는 무료 세무 상담의 날 운영 등 맞춤형 세무 상담 서비스를 운영해 나갈 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
