지원 대상은 증평군에 주소를 둔 18~39세 이하 1인 미혼 가구로, 기준중위소득 150% 이하의 무주택자 가운데 임차보증금 5천만 원 이하, 월세 70만 원 이하의 임대차 계약을 체결한 경우다.
기존 지원 요건을 충족할 경우 올해 상반기 신청자부터 인상된 지원금이 적용된다.
군은 이번 조치가 전입 초기 비용 부담을 줄이고, 청년층의 안정적인 지역 정착을 유도하는 데 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
