현재 본 사업 중 주차장 바닥 포장공사, 주차라인 노면 표기 등 일부 공종이 완료돼 주민 이용에 큰 불편이 없는 상태로, 군은 주민 편의를 위해 주차장을 임시로 개방했다. 군은 올해 상반기 내로 주차관제시스템과 전기차 충전시설 설치를 마무리할 계획이다.
한편 음성천 복개주차장 이용이 재개되면서 그동안 유예했던 음성읍 일대 불법주정차 단속은 이달 5일부터 정상적으로 재개된다.
