파주시가 건설 분야 예산의 신속집행과 효율적인 사업 추진을 위해 2026년 건설 분야 합동설계단 운영에 본격 착수했다고 5일 밝혔다.
시는 각 읍면의 기술직 공무원 등 10명으로 합동설계단을 구성하고, 오는 30일까지 4주간 집중 운영할 계획이다.
이번 합동설계단이 담당할 사업은 총 121건으로 사업비 규모는 66억 원에 달한다.

설계단은 각 읍면에서 사전에 진행된 측량 결과를 바탕으로 도면과 수량, 내역서 등을 작성하게 된다.
안전상 우려가 있거나 전문적인 검토가 필요한 사업의 경우 별도 용역을 발주할 방침이다.
시는 합동설계단 운영을 통해 2026년 건설 분야 사업의 설계부터 발주, 공사까지 조기에 추진하고 신속하게 마무리함으로써 지역 경제 활성화에 기여한다는 계획이다.
특히 이번 합동설계단 운영 기간 중에는 한강 하저터널 홍보관 및 캠프하우즈 교량 거더 설치 현장 견학, 캐드(CAD) 및 측량 교육 등 실무 중심의 교육·체험 프로그램을 병행해 기술직 공무원의 업무 역량을 체계적으로 강화할 예정이다.
조춘동 도로교통국장은 "건설사업 합동설계단 운영은 파주시가 40여 년간 이어온 전통"이라며 "현장 견학과 측량, 도면 작성 등 실무 중심 교육을 통해 기술직 공무원 역량이 한층 강화될 것으로 기대한다"고 말했다.
