[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 사천시는 6일 새해를 맞아 언론과의 소통, 상생협력 강화를 위한 '2026년 신년 기자 간담회'를 갖고 올해의 역점 시책 등 시정 운영에 대한 설명과 비전을 제시했다.
이날 간담회에서는 국립창원대 사천 우주항공캠퍼스 개교 등 지난해 이룬 성과와 다양한 활동을 소개했다.
그리고, 우주항공복합도시 특별법 국회 통과 등 조속하게 해결해야 할 과제에 대한 설명과 함께 언론인들의 적극적인 협조를 당부했다.

박 시장은 또 "조속한 우주항공복합도시 조성으로 대한민국 우주항공수도로서의 위상을 더욱 공고히 함과 동시에 사천의 미래를 여는 원년이 되도록 하겠다"며 "이를 위해서는 우주항공복합도시 특별법 제정이 필수인데, 언론인 여러분의 적극적인 격려와 관심이 필요하다"고 말했다.
