동국대 WISE캠퍼스 보건의료정보학과, 국가시험 전원 합격 쾌거

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 보건의료정보학과는 지난해 12월 6일 시행된 제42회 보건의료정보관리사 국가시험에서 응시한 재학생 전원이 합격하는 성과를 거뒀다고 밝혔다.

이번 국가시험은 서울을 비롯한 전국 7개 지역에서 지필시험으로 실시됐으며, 총 2,075명이 응시해 1,190명이 합격했다. 전국 평균 합격률은 57.3%로 집계됐다.

허상현 글로컬문화융합대학장은 “보건의료정보학과 응시생 전원이 합격하게 돼 전체 동국 가족과 함께 매우 기쁘게 생각한다”며 “졸업 후 사회 각 분야에서 전문성과 역량을 발휘하는 인재로 성장하길 바란다”고 격려의 말을 전했다.

김석환 보건의료정보학과장은 “올해는 학과 첫 입학생이자 첫 졸업예정자들이 국가시험에 응시한 해로, 100% 합격을 목표로 학과 전용 자율학습실 개방, 국가고시 대비 특강, 모의고사 시행, 지도교수 특별상담 등 체계적인 지원을 이어왔다”며 “그 결과가 이번 전원 합격이라는 뜻깊은 성과로 이어진 것 같다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

동국대 WISE캠퍼스 보건의료정보학과는 2022년 3월 1기생 입학을 시작으로 동국대학교 일산불교병원, 일산한방병원, 분당한방병원, 경주병원, 경주한의원 등 다양한 의료기관과 연계한 현장실습을 운영하고 있다. 특히 보건의료정보관리사 국가시험에서 100% 합격자를 배출하며 국내 보건의료정보 분야 발전에 기여하고 있다.

한편 동국대학교 보건의료정보학과는 전국 평균 합격률과 비교해 최상위권 합격률을 지속적으로 유지하고 있으며, 2022년 한국보건의료정보교육평가원이 주관한 제1주기 신규평가에서 ‘5년 인증(3년+2년)’을 획득했다. 대학 측은 이에 만족하지 않고 제2회 정기평가를 철저히 준비해 교육 경쟁력을 더욱 강화할 방침이다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus Department of Health and Medical Informatics Achieves Successful Success with 100% Passing National Examination

Dongguk University WISE Campus Department of Health and Medical Informatics announced that all students who took the 42nd National Health and Medical Information Management Examination, held on December 6th of last year, passed.

The exam was administered as a written exam in seven regions nationwide, including Seoul. A total of 2,075 students took the exam, and 1,190 passed. The national average pass rate was 57.3%.

With the goal of achieving a 100% pass rate, we have provided systematic support, including opening a dedicated self-study room, providing special lectures on national exam preparation, conducting mock exams, and providing special consultations with advisors. This commitment has led to the meaningful success of this 100% pass rate."

The Department of Health and Medical Informatics at Dongguk University's WISE Campus has been operating field training programs in partnership with various medical institutions, including Dongguk University Ilsan Buddhist Hospital, Ilsan Oriental Hospital, Bundang Oriental Hospital, Gyeongju Hospital, and Gyeongju Oriental Medicine Clinic, since its inaugural class began in March 2022. Notably, the department has achieved a 100% pass rate on the national exam for Health and Medical Information Managers, contributing to the advancement of the domestic health and medical information sector.

Meanwhile, Dongguk University's Department of Health and Medical Informatics has consistently maintained a top-tier acceptance rate compared to the national average. In 2022, the university received a "five-year accreditation (three years + two years)" in the first cycle of the new evaluation conducted by the Korea Institute of Health and Medical Informatics Education and Evaluation. Unsatisfied with this achievement, the university plans to thoroughly prepare for the second regular evaluation to further strengthen its educational competitiveness.
