[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 제65회 경상남도민체육대회가 개막 100일을 앞두고 함안군과 창녕군이 성공적인 개최를 위한 준비에 박차를 가하고 있다.
함안군은 7일 이번 도민체전 공개행사 연출대행 용역 착수보고회를 열고 대회 성공적인 개최를 위한 본격적인 준비에 들어갔다.
이날 보고회는 함안군수를 비롯해 함안군의회 의장, 함안군 체육회장, 도의원과 군의원, 군 관계자 등 40여 명이 참석해 연출 대행사의 착수보고를 듣고, 질의응답으로 행사의 방향과 구성, 내용 등에 대해 논의했다.
보고회 이후 참석자들은 군청 본관 현관으로 이동해 대회 D-100일 기념으로 카운트다운기 제막식을 열고, 한마음으로 대회의 성공적인 개최를 기원하며 준비 분위기를 한층 끌어올렸다.
조근제 함안군수는 “D-100 카운트가 시작됨으로써 본격적인 대회 준비에 들어갔다”며 “체육, 문화, 예술이 함께 어우러진 수준 높은 스포츠 축제가 될 수 있도록 최선을 다해 준비하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 창녕군도 이날 성낙인 군수, 군의회 의장, 도·군의원, 군체육회장, 관계 공무원 등이 참석한 가운데 추진상황 보고회와 카운트다운 점등식을 가졌다.
성낙인 창녕군수는 "제65회 경남도민체육대회가 창녕의 위상을 높이고 경남도민의 화합을 이루는 장이 될 것"이라며 "남은 기간 동안 안전하고 성공적인 대회 준비에 행정력을 집중하겠다"고 말했다.
함안과 창녕군이 공동으로 개최하는 이번 대회에는 ‘하나되는 함안·창녕 두배되는 행복경남’ 이라는 슬로건 아래 4월 17일부터 20일까지 4일간 개최되며, 36개 종목 경기가 함안과 창녕 공설운동장 외 여러 경기장에서 열리고, 성화행사 및 축하공연이 펼쳐지는 개회식은 함안공설운동장에서 열린다.
