브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회가 현대아울렛 가산점과 2026년 병오년 말의 해를 맞아 말馬을 주제로 한 특별 전시를 공동 개최한다.
이번 전시는 이달 31일까지 한 달간 현대아울렛 가산점 1층과 4층 전시 공간에서 진행되며, 말의 아름다움과 한국 경마의 역사를 대중과 함께 나누기 위해 마련됐다.
1층 타미힐피거 매장 앞에서는 ‘한국마사회와 함께 여는 말 사진 특별전’이 열린다. 한국마사회가 개최한 말 사진 공모전 수상작 16점을 엄선해 전시하며, 말의 역동적인 모습과 우아한 자태를 담은 작품들을 감상할 수 있다.
1층 정문 스타벅스 근처에는 ‘그랑프리’를 주제로 한 특별 조형물이 설치된다. 역대 그랑프리 우승마와 기수의 이름을 역동적인 타이포그라피로 표현한 이 작품은 한국 경마의 찬란한 역사를 시각적으로 재해석했다. 조형물과 함께 실제 그랑프리 우승 트로피도 전시돼 관람객들에게 특별한 볼거리를 제공한다.
4층 전시 공간에서는 굴레, 안장, 채찍 등 실제 사용되는 승마 장구와 말 관련 영상물을 전시해 말과 인간의 교감, 승마 문화에 대한 이해를 높일 예정이다.
특히, 이번 전시 기간 중 현대아울렛 가산점에서 10만 원 이상 구매한 고객에게는 선착순 500명에 한해 한국 경마의 명마 ‘트리플나인’ 인형 키링을 증정한다. 트리플나인은 한국경마 4년 연속 대통령배 우승, 3회 연도대표마 수상, 두바이 경마 월드컵 진출 등 화려한 기록을 세우며 ‘한국 경마의 전설’로 불린 명마다.
정기환 한국마사회 회장은 “병오년 말의 해를 맞아 일반 시민들이 일상 속에서 자연스럽게 말 문화와 경마의 가치를 경험할 수 있는 기회를 마련하게 돼 기쁘다”며 “이번 전시가 말에 대한 관심과 이해를 높이고, 한국 경마 문화를 알리는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
