<브레이크뉴스 양주=이용하 기자>양주시 양주1동에 추운 겨울을 녹이는 따뜻한 ‘장수 잔치’가 열려 지역사회의 귀감이 되고 있다.
양주1동 지역사회보장협의체(민간위원장 강인옥)는 지난 8일, 관내 90세 이상 어르신들을 대상으로 정서적 지지와 건강을 기원하는 ‘꽃보다 아름다운 우리는 아흔 세대’ 사업을 추진했다.
■ 정성으로 차린 ‘장수 상차림’… 경로당에 퍼진 웃음꽃
2025년 양주1동 지역사회보장협의체 마을복지사업의 하나로 기획된 이번 행사는 홀로 시간을 보내며 정서적 고립감을 느끼기 쉬운 고령의 어르신들을 위로하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 협의체 위원들은 이른 새벽부터 모여 어르신들이 좋아하시는 소불고기, 잡채, 케이크 등 잔치 음식을 직접 준비했다. 경로당에 모인 아흔 세대 어르신들은 위원들이 정성껏 차린 음식을 함께 나누며 이웃의 온정을 느끼는 소중한 시간을 가졌다.
