강원 홍천군이 예비 귀농·귀촌인들의 성공적인 농촌 안착을 돕기 위해 실전형 교육의 문을 활짝 열었다.
홍천군 농업기술센터는 지난 12일부터 오는 23일까지 관내 전입 5년 이내의 신규 농업인과 예비 귀농·귀촌인 19명을 대상으로 ‘신규농업인 영농기초 기술교육’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 영농 경험이 부족한 초보 귀농인들이 현장에서 겪는 시행착오를 줄이고, 안정적인 정착 기반을 마련할 수 있도록 돕는 데 초점을 맞췄다. 교육 과정은 ▲치유농업의 이해 ▲농업 관련 법률 ▲작목별 기초 재배 기술 ▲우수 농가 현장 견학 등 농촌 생활에 꼭 필요한 핵심 기술들로 구성됐다.
특히 시기적으로 농한기에 교육을 집중 배치(10차시, 총 40시간)해 효율성을 높였으며, 사례 중심의 관내 귀농 현장 강사와 분야별 담당 공무원을 배치해 이론과 실제가 결합된 생생한 교육 서비스를 제공한다.
