브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= LG유플러스는 소상공인 고객의 금융 피해 예방에 초점을 맞춘 신규 인터넷 요금제 ‘SOHO 안심보상’을 출시했다고 14일 밝혔다.
‘SOHO 안심보상’은 금융 사기를 발생시키는 스미싱∙피싱∙큐싱 의심 사이트 접속을 자동으로 차단하고, 피해 발생 시 보상 및 매장 기기 수리 비용까지 지원하는 소상공인 전용 인터넷 요금제다.
소상공인은 세금신고, 거래처 관리, 온라인 발주 등으로 외부 사이트를 접속하는 경우가 많아 유해사이트에 노출되거나 피싱∙스미싱 피해를 입을 수 있다는 우려가 크다. 이에 LG유플러스는 고객들이 피해를 예방할 수 있도록 스미싱∙피싱∙큐싱 의심 사이트 접속을 자동 차단하는 기능을 추가했다.
요금제는 100M, 500M, 1G 세 가지 속도로 운영된다. 상품별 이용요금은 3년 약정기준으로 △100M 월 2만5300원 △500M 월 3만6300원 △1G 월 4만2900원이다.
500M·1G 요금제에 가입한 소상공인 고객은 ‘보상케어서비스’를 통해 스미싱·피싱 등으로 금전 피해를 입을 경우, 연 최대 300만원까지 보상을 받을 수 있다. 1G 요금제 가입고객은 매장 내에서 갑작스럽게 전자기기가 고장이 났을 때에도 연 최대 50만원 수리비를 받을 수 있다.
또한, ‘SOHO 안심보상’ 요금제는 안정적인 서비스를 제공하기 위해 연결가능한 PC의 숫자도 크게 늘렸다. ‘SOHO 안심보상’ 500M·1G 요금제는 최대 10대의 PC에 동시접속을 제공한다. 이는 기존 기본 2대에서 대폭 확대된 것으로, 외식업∙소매업·소규모 사무실∙병원∙학원 등 여러 PC를 동시에 사용하는 업종의 수요를 반영했다.
이 밖에도 SOHO 안심보상 요금제에 가입한 소상공인 고객 전원에게는 ‘기가 Wi-Fi 6’가 기본 제공되며, 사업장 운영에 유용한 제휴 서비스를 제공하는 ‘U+사장님광장’ 혜택도 무료로 제공된다.
