파주시가 13일 파주참사랑회로부터 관내 저소득 취약계층 어르신들의 생활비 지원을 위한 성금 2,000만 원을 전달받았다고 밝혔다.
이날 전달식에는 김승기 파주참사랑회장(생능출판사 대표)을 비롯해 김종하 부회장, 반은주 사무국장 등 관계자들이 참석했다.

이번에 기탁된 성금은 파주시 저소득 취약계층 어르신 50명에게 1인당 40만 원씩 지원될 예정이다.
파주참사랑회는 2009년 비영리민간단체로 설립된 이후 17년간 소외계층을 위한 봉사와 나눔 활동을 꾸준히 펼치며 지역사회의 나눔문화 확산에 앞장서 왔다.
김승기 회장은 "지역 어르신들이 조금이나마 일상에 여유를 가지실 수 있기를 바라는 마음으로 회원들이 정성을 모았다"며 "작은 정성이지만 도움이 필요한 어르신들께 직접 전달되어 따뜻한 버팀목이 되길 바란다"고 전했다.
김경일 파주시장은 "어려운 이웃을 위해 해마다 변함없이 손을 내밀어 주시는 파주참사랑회 회원 여러분께 깊이 감사드린다"며 "여러분의 연대와 실천이 파주시 복지행정의 든든한 동반자가 되어, 누구도 소외되지 않는 따뜻한 복지도시 파주를 만드는 데 큰 힘이 될 것"이라고 말했다.
