음성군 대표 축제인 음성품바축제는 6월 10일부터 14일까지 5일간 음성읍 설성공원 및 꽃동네 일원에서 개최된다.
김기명 축제추진위원장은 “2025년도 개선 사항과 심포지엄을 통해 모인 의견들을 면밀히 살펴 군민과 관광객들이 더욱 흥미롭고 안전하게 즐길 수 있도록 내실 있게 준비하겠다”며 의지를 다졌다.
군 관계자는 “관광객이 현장에서 체감하는 바가지요금 없는 축제, 깨끗하고 친환경적인 축제 조성이 지속 가능한 축제의 출발점”이라며 “추진위원회가 마음을 모아 축제의 성공개최를 위해 최선을 다해 주시기를 바란다”고 말했다.
한편 군은 향후 음성품바축제 기획실무위원회(위원장 강희진)와 추가 협의를 통해 세부 프로그램과 운영계획을 확정하고 축제 준비에 박차를 가할 계획이다.
