[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함안군이 안정적 보육 환경 조성을 위해 총력을 기울이고 있다.
군은 지난 13일 2026년 함안군 보육정책위원회를 열고, 관내 보육 서비스의 질 향상과 안정적인 운영을 위한 주요 안건을 심의 의결했다.
이날 위원회는 위원장(석욱희 부군수)을 비롯한 보육 전문가와 보호자 대표 등 위원 11명이 참석한 가운데 국공립어린이집 재위탁 운영자 선정, 2026년 최소 필요지역 어린이집 선정의 2개 안건을 확정했다.
위탁 기간이 만료되는 국공립 새싹아트어린이집과 한샛별어린이집에 대해 운영체의 전문성과 공신력을 평가한 결과, 두 곳 모두 재위탁 운영자로 선정됐다.
이에 따라 해당 어린이집은 오는 3월부터 5년간 위탁 운영을 이어가며 보육 서비스를 제공하게 된다.
또한 영유아 감소로 운영에 어려움을 겪는 읍면 지역의 보육 기반 시설 보호를 위해 산인어린이집과 대산어린이집을 ‘최소 필요지역 어린이집’으로 재선정했다.
이번 결정으로 해당 시설은 아동 수 부족으로 법적 기준에 미달하더라도 보육교사 인건비를 지속 지원받게 돼, 농촌 지역의 보육 공백을 막을 수 있게 됐다.
석욱희 부군수는 “저출생 영향으로 보육 현장이 어려운 상황이지만, ‘아이 키우기 좋은 함안’을 만들기 위해 행정적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”며 “부모가 안심하고 아이를 맡길 수 있는 공공 보육 환경을 조성하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

The committee, comprised of 11 members including the chairperson (Vice County Mayor Seok Wook-hee), childcare experts, and parent representatives, approved two agenda items: selecting operators for re-consignment of public and national daycare centers and selecting daycare centers in areas with minimum need for 2026.
After evaluating the expertise and credibility of the operating organizations of Saessak Art Daycare Center and Hansatbyeol Daycare Center, both of which are nearing the end of their contracts, both were selected as re-consignment operators.

We will do our utmost to create a public childcare environment where parents can entrust their children with peace of mind."
