경기도 동두천시장, 2026년도 시정발전 기도회 참석

[브레이크뉴스 동두천=김완영 기자] 경기도 동두천시(시장 박형덕)는 지난 13일(화) 오후 6시 동두천시 동성교회에서 동두천기독교연합회(회장 장헌익 목사)가 주관한 ‘2026년도 시정발전 기도회’에 참석했다.

 

이날 기도회는 ‘동두천을 다시 세우는 거룩한 손길’을 주제로 진행됐으며, 동성교회 양영주 목사의 설교에 이어 소망교회 권순익 목사의 ‘나라와 민족을 위하여’, 성신침례교회 최규선 목사의 ‘동두천시 발전을 위하여’, 참빛감리교회 김준환 목사의 ‘남북 평화 통일을 위하여’ 등 특별기도가 이어졌다.

 

동두천기독교연합회 관계자와 동두천시 공직자 등 100여 명이 함께한 가운데, 박형덕 시장은 “동두천은 국가 안보와 평화 유지에 큰 역할을 해온 도시”라며 “남북 평화와 통일, 국가 번영을 향한 우리의 염원이 이루어지길 기원한다”라고 말했다. 

 

한편  “2026년 한 해, 통합과 화합을 가로막는 모든 장벽을 넘어 포용과 협력으로 동두천이 대한민국 발전과 남북 통일의 초석이 되도록 최선을 다하겠다”라고 덧붙였다.
