마이어 아키텍츠는 바르셀로나 현대미술관, 로마 아라 파치스 박물관, LA 게티 센터 등 세계 주요도시의 랜드마크를 설계하며 국제적 명성을 쌓아왔다. 특히, 게티 센터는 건축과 자연, 도시 맥락의 조화를 완성도 높게 구현한 작품으로 평가받으며 마이어 아키텍츠의 대표작으로 꼽힌다.
