고양특례시 일산서구 탄현1동이 저소득 노인과 장애인 가구의 건강한 식생활과 정서적 안정을 돕기 위한 ‘반찬손길’ 사업을 지난 14일부터 본격적으로 시작했다.

‘반찬손길’ 사업은 협의체 위원들이 직접 대상 가구를 방문해 반찬을 전달하면서 건강 상태와 정서적 안부를 함께 살피는 방식으로 운영되며 단순한 식사 지원을 넘어 생활 전반의 안정을 돕는 돌봄 활동으로 지역사회에 따뜻한 온기를 더하고 있다.
반찬을 전달받은 한 어르신은 “혼자 지내다 보니 끼니를 거를 때도 많았는데 직접 찾아와 반찬을 챙겨주고 이야기를 나누니 큰 힘이 된다”며 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
홍점수 민간위원장은 “반찬을 전하는 시간은 단순한 배달이 아니라 이웃의 안부를 확인하는 소중한 만남의 시간”이라며 “앞으로도 민관이 협력해 도움이 필요한 이웃 곁을 꾸준히 지켜나가겠다”고 말했다.
