파주시가 장애 아동과 그 가족의 경제적 부담을 덜어주기 위해 올해 1월부터 재활서비스 이용권 지원금을 대폭 인상한다.
시는 발달재활서비스 이용권 지원금을 월 1만 원, 언어발달지원서비스 이용권 지원금을 월 2만 원 각각 인상한다고 밝혔다.
이번 조치로 발달재활서비스는 월 최대 26만 원, 언어발달지원서비스는 월 최대 24만 원까지 지원받을 수 있게 됐다.
발달재활서비스는 장애 아동과 장애가 예견되는 아동의 정신적·감각적 기능 향상과 행동 발달을 돕는 복지사업이다.
중위소득 180% 이하 가구를 대상으로 하며, 시각·청각·언어·지적·자폐성·뇌병변 장애가 있는 18세 미만의 장애 아동과 9세 미만의 장애가 예견되는 아동에게 서비스를 제공한다.
언어발달지원서비스는 중위소득 120% 이하 가구 중 장애 부모가 있는 12세 미만의 비장애 아동을 대상으로 한다.
언어를 포함한 다양한 영역의 재활 서비스를 지원해 장애 부모 가정의 아동이 균형 있게 성장할 수 있도록 돕는다.
이번 지원금 인상은 매년 상승하는 서비스 비용으로 인한 가정의 경제적 부담을 완화하기 위한 조치다.
또한 제공기관의 우수 인력 확보에도 긍정적인 영향을 미쳐 서비스 품질 향상으로 이어질 것으로 기대된다.
파주시는 이용자의 선택 폭을 넓히고 안정적인 서비스 제공을 위해 발달재활서비스 제공기관 31개소, 언어발달지원서비스 제공기관 10개소를 확보하고 있다.
원활한 사업 운영과 서비스 품질 향상을 위해 매년 현장 지도·점검도 실시하고 있다.
