(사)한국숲사랑총연합회 경기지역이 갑진년 새해를 맞아 소중한 산림 자원을 지키기 위한 환경정화 및 산불예방 활동의 본격적인 시작을 알렸다.
18일 (사)한국숲사랑총연합회 경기지역에 따르면, 지난 17일 김필례 총재를 비롯한 회원 45여 명은 안성시 서운산 일대에서 ‘산불예방 캠페인 및 환경정화활동’을 전개했다.
이번 활동은 단체가 6년째 변함없이 이어온 지역 사랑 실천의 일환으로 마련됐다.

이날 현장에는 김필례 총재를 필두로 조금복 사무총장, 김미경 여성회장(고양시의원), 정형배 산림보호회장, 윤형용 나눔봉사회장, 유재철 고양시 지회장 등 주요 관계자들이 대거 참여해 숲사랑 실천에 앞장섰다.
■ "환경정화가 곧 생명 보호"… 서운산 일대 쓰레기 수거
참석한 회원들은 추운 날씨 속에서도 서운산 산행로 곳곳을 누비며 버려진 오물과 쓰레기를 수거하는 환경정화활동에 구슬땀을 흘렸다.
깨끗한 산림 환경을 조성하는 것이 산불 예방의 기초이자 생태계 보전의 시작이라는 취지다.
동시에 등산객들을 대상으로 인화 물질 소지 금지 등 산불 예방 수칙을 알리는 홍보 활동을 병행하며 시민들의 자발적인 참여를 독려했다.
