시는 지난 19일 시장실에서 (사)21세기여성정치연합 의정부시지회(이하 여성정치연합) 신년인사회를 개최했다고 20일 밝혔다. 이번 인사회는 새롭게 선출된 제16대 정민순 신임회장과 임원진의 공식적인 행보를 알리고, 지역 현안에 대한 여성계의 목소리를 시정에 반영하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 행사는 신임 임원진의 신년 인사를 시작으로, 그동안 단체 발전과 지역 여성 권익 향상에 헌신한 안금례 전임회장에 대한 감사패 전달식이 진행됐다. 이어 참석자들은 여성 정치 참여 확대 방안과 지역사회 발전을 위한 다양한 정책 아이디어를 공유하며 심도 있는 논의를 이어갔다.
