소흘읍 행정복지센터는 지난 19일 소흘읍 이장협의회 주관으로 ‘2026년 제1회 6·25 참전유공자 초청 감사 오찬 행사’를 개최했다고 20일 밝혔다.
이날 행사에는 6·25 참전유공자회 소흘읍지회 회원과 전몰군경 배우자 등 20여 명이 참석했다. 소흘읍 이장협의회는 정성껏 준비한 오찬을 대접하며 참전용사들의 안부를 살피고, 목숨을 걸고 나라를 지켜낸 영웅들에게 깊은 존경의 인사를 건넸다.
조명구 소흘읍 이장협의회장은 “새해를 맞아 우리 동네의 영웅이신 참전유공자분들을 가장 먼저 모시게 되어 영광”이라며, “추운 겨울날 어르신들이 건강을 잃지 않으시길 바라며, 앞으로도 선배님들의 헌신이 헛되지 않도록 예우에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
