<브레이크뉴스 태백=김일웅 기자>태백시가 지역 경제 활성화와 주요 현안 사업의 안정적인 추진을 위해 오는 2027년 국·도비 예산 확보를 위한 본격적인 담금질에 들어갔다.
시는 지난 19일 시청 소회의실에서 김동균 부시장 주재로 국장 및 부서장들이 참석한 가운데 ‘2027년 국·도비 사업 발굴 보고회’를 개최했다고 20일 밝혔다. 이번 보고회는 국정 방향과 연계한 신규 사업을 선제적으로 발굴하고, 체계적인 예산 확보 전략을 수립하기 위해 마련됐다.
보고회에서 발굴된 국·도비 사업은 신규 사업 33건과 계속 사업 25건 등 총 58건으로, 규모는 1,102억 원(국비 826억·도비 276억)에 달한다. 시는 연례 반복 사업까지 포함해 2027년도 국·도비 확보 목표액을 총 2,034억 원으로 설정했다.
주요 신규 사업으로는 ▲노후 상수도 정비사업(340억) ▲태백역 일원 도시재생 공모사업(250억) ▲석탄박물관 리모델링(210억) ▲스마트축산단지 조성(171억) ▲가덕산 풍력단지 고원관광휴양 자원화(120억) 등이 리스트에 올랐다.
또한 태백의 명운이 걸린 계속 사업들도 차질 없이 추진된다. ▲조기폐광지역 경제진흥 사업(3,540억) ▲순직산업전사위령탑 성역화 사업(425억) ▲통합공공임대주택 건립(368억) 등이 예산 반영을 위한 집중 관리 대상에 포함됐다.
