<브레이크뉴스 태백=김일웅 기자>태백시가 지역사회 전반에 건강한 양성평등 문화를 확산하고 여성의 사회 참여를 독려하기 위해 민간 주도의 참신한 아이디어를 찾는다.
시는 오는 1월 30일까지 ‘2026년 양성평등기금 지원사업’에 참여할 법인 및 단체를 공개 모집한다고 20일 밝혔다.
올해 총사업비 3,000만 원 규모로 진행되는 이번 공모는 태백시에 주소를 둔 비영리법인과 비영리민간단체는 물론, 성인 5인 이상으로 구성된 자발적 소모임까지 참여 기회를 대폭 넓혔다. 지원 규모는 단체의 경우 사업별 최대 1,000만 원, 소모임은 최대 300만 원까지 지원받을 수 있다.
공모 분야는 ▲양성평등 문화 확산 및 의식 제고 ▲여성 인권 보호 및 권익 증진 ▲일·가정 양립 지원 및 돌봄 환경 조성 등 양성평등 실현을 위한 창의적인 사업이라면 무엇이든 신청 가능하다.
참여를 희망하는 단체는 지방보조금관리시스템인 ‘보탬e’를 통해 온라인으로 접수하면 된다. 시는 접수된 사업을 대상으로 사업의 적정성, 기대효과, 단체의 수행 능력 등을 종합적으로 심의해 오는 3월 중 최종 지원 대상을 선정할 계획이다.
태백시 관계자는 “시민들이 직접 기획하고 실행하는 사업을 통해 양성평등이 일상 속 문화로 자리 잡길 기대한다”며 “참신한 아이디어를 가진 단체와 소모임의 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
